Favorites like Park Cafe and Sorrento’s pizzeria can be found, along with new options like the food stalls at AquaDome Marketplace. This was my favorite new dining option onboard Icon of the Seas, but I also appreciated the availability of other included venues in areas like Surfside and the Royal Promenade.

Keep in mind, Celebrity Ascent is the only new ship that was not designed for families. Norwegian, Carnival, and Royal Caribbean are all family-friendly cruise lines that cater to adults and kids alike onboard. From older-but-updated and smaller ships, to mega ships with all the bells and whistles, to luxury catamarans that will take you to far-flung locales, Celebrity offers something for everyone. Whether you’re a stalwart Celebrity Cruises fan or you’re just intrigued by the brand and are considering booking your next cruise with Celebrity for the first time, you have plenty of ship options. Unfortunately, while Celebrity’s Revolution initiative did impact a large number of the cruise line’s ships, it hasn’t impacted Celebrity Solstice just yet. There’s also the Magic Carpet – a protruding space that changes purpose throughout the cruise, and rises between the decks to offer amazing views from the ship. This may be a small ship, but she has a gorgeous design and she has plenty of fantastic spaces to enjoy during your cruise. And this Celebrity newest ship takes this to new levels, with more expanded open-air spaces where guests can unwind and truly enjoy the calming atmosphere of the ocean.
